Anita Wong is the owner and creator of WebSight Designs. In 2002, she set out to bring her love of working with computers together with helping small business owners establish their presence on the Internet.

She holds a B.S in Civil Engineering and has always had a propensity toward working with computers. Basic computer logic and understanding came naturally to her as she expanded her information technology (IT) knowledge while working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, automating processes to support her engineering work which ranged from construction inspection and contract management to design project management, and supervising the production of topographic surveys. In 1995, she served as the system administrator of the Engineering Division computer aided design and drafting (CADD) and local area network (LAN) which officially started her professional career in the IT industry. There she functioned as an IT support specialist, doing everything from desktop support to server systems manager.

Learning the requirements of effective web design through reading lots of books, studying sites created by others and figuring out what actually works has been the key. The focus of WebSight Designs is to help small businesses create and maintain an on-line presence at an affordable price.
